St Monica’s Catholic Primary School visit to PGHS

On Tuesday 4th June, it was a pleasure to once again welcome Year 5 pupils and their teachers from the local St Monica’s Catholic Primary School to PGHS, as part of our ongoing Local Schools Partnership Programme.
Whilst they were here, our Year 10 pupils became French teachers for the day! They taught 25 St Monica’s Year 5 pupils. The PGHS Year 10 pupils prepared their lessons, activities and personalised material independently. They taught the St Monica’s pupils lots of different words in French including food, colours, animals and parts of the body. They even enjoyed some singing and dancing too!
After their French lesson, pupils from both schools thoroughly enjoyed watching the Onatti Production of their new comical interactive play ‘Le Chateau’ together.
