I liked the small setting, just for girls, the small class size and felt that the academic standard was strong and would help our daughters achieve their full potential.

The friendly, family-like atmosphere. My daughter is only in Reception, but she seems to know girls throughout the school. Soon after she started we were walking home when a group of Year 3 girls were walking with their parents and they all affectionately called my daughter’s name and waved to her. I asked her how she knew such big girls and she said, “Because they’re my friends!”

We looked at three schools and knew when we came into PGHS that this was the school we wanted our daughter to come to. I actually compared the feeling I got when I first walked around the school to a scene from the film Dead Poets Society, where the pupils just looked so happy, confident and full of personality. The Nursery is amazing! I would and have recommended it to anyone with a daughter. The team understand each child’s needs, as well as the parents’ needs. I love the nursery, [the] key being my daughter enjoys every morning there.

Not seen or visited a better nursery. Well done Mrs Harney and her team. They have the human touch, as well teaching the girls right and wrong. No concern or problem is too big for her.
