Mrs Alexia Eliades

Alexia is Vice President, Senior Claims Manager at Swiss Re and is a qualified Lawyer of England and Wales.

Amongst various accolades; Alexia has been named as the IACP Young Professional of the Year 2021 Honoree. She has also been shortlisted as Young Claims Professional of the Year in both 2019, 2020 and 2021 at the Insurance Insider Honours. Alexia has also been nominated as Claims Professional of the Year at the Women in Insurance Awards 2021 and within two categories in the Women in Insurance Awards for both 2023 and 2024. Alexia has also been featured in Gracechurch’s Weekly People, as recognised by market peers, for making “trading spaces” assets to her respective brand.

Alexia has been Shortlisted in 2024 as a Legal Hero at The Law Society. She is amongst 19 Lawyers within the UK recognised as having made the biggest difference to the lives of others, their local communities and society. This marks Alexia making a lasting and tangible impact and bringing distinction to the profession.

Alexia is currently Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion within the UK at Swiss Re. She is incredibly passionate about moving the dial on the D,E&I agenda across the market and has led various initiatives to this cause.

Alexia has co-founded a Mental Health network across the Insurance sector, is a qualified Mental Health First Aider and is an Official Representative for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and a Trained Child Mental Health Adviser.
